Offshore cathodic protection with sacrificial anodes requires the highest quality aluminum. Deepwater Gaus brand anodes are available in one of two aluminum alloys ( and  ), each utilizing a chemical composition unique for performance in either tropical or cold, deep water. Anodes are available in the following configurations:
